I'm not here to tell you how I feel, now the story's become a tad surreal. It's not easy to change keep your part of the deal. You were looking for something, didn't know just what for, now you find yourself waging a war. Threaten me with something more than success. Cherry it's alright 'cause we're both in luck tonight. You know I wouldn't marry you even if I was paid to do it. Now you're packing up and moving away, don't wanna be the first damn one to say, he who don't forgive or forget has to pay. So I'm not here to tell you how I feel, now the story's become a tad surreal. It's not easy to change keep your part of the deal. Cherry it's alright 'cause we're both in luck tonight. You know I wouldn't marry you even if I was paid to do it.

Sleepwalking 04:20
I'm all black and blue and I hate the shit on TV too. Their words make us cough and we're tired of being ripped off. They sold us lies and tried to pull the wool over our eyes. Who's putting up a fight? For what's wrong and what is right. Now December's gone already still we flirt together clearly...when you want. It's booze talking we're sleepwalking. I got a job downtown, within a month the fucking place closed down. Naturally, you frowned, in wine our sorrows we will drown. Now September's gone already still we argue so frequently...all the time. It's booze talking we're sleepwalking. I'm writing these words in the hope you get to see them first. In any case at worst, the both of us be hurt.

Pink Jeans 01:38
Pink jeans they looked good for a while but they never fit you. Don't be coy, your mother should've told you. Lie awake hoping he would call. Skinny jeans and a matching badass tattoo. He'd be proud of you. Local toy your mother could've warned you, and alpha male is never satisfied. Satisfied...never satisfied...
4.
Little Crisp 02:20
After all it's just as well, you're well connected and you're easy to sell. How could I? How could I tell you were the laughing stock of the rest of the band?ahhhh There's a girl, a girl I know, that when she's here she turns us all day-glo. How did I? How did I know that there was one of us who captured her heart?ahhhh One of them in a ditch waiting. The other one her heart is breaking. Both of them could be until the end. Wait a sec there's one who's left. The one who'll never be her lover again. How could I? How could I tell him to move on and start all over again?ahhhh
5.
The thrill's now gone, a page been turned. You pay for your mistakesthough they could be worse. But where is the band we began back on the coast with? A blue sky where we fly, so high, so fly on... The first to grow up last to settle down and some things I did would've made Mary frown. But where is the band we began and then grew old with? A new sky where we fly, so high, so fly on... Never thought I'd catch you yawning, happiness was just a warning. I just wanna know where did our youth go? So pack your bags and pick me up in the morning, a better life is one step closer now. I just wanna knowwhere did our youth go? Deception, a sour tune. All those things they promised you.
6.
Blind man's proof, turned to insanity all you can eat. Misguided youth, crippled with vanity too many gadgets on. Step inside these shoes and you would agree. That adolescence comes at a price that is known , why should it make a difference to me? Embracing the impossible is quite enticing, drink your drugged tea. The good times flew, we wrestled banality, old Dijon mustard. Give him clues, dressed up in fantasy, we all need someone to hug. Step inside these shoes and you would agree, That adolescence comes at a price that is known why should it make a difference to me? Embracing the impossible is quite enticing, drink your drugged tea.

The Player 02:37
Even wearing a binliner you could still break more hearts than Marilyn in '62...I should've stayed away from you. You played and laid with all the very best of them. Don't lead me on again. You said you'd run out of things to say, downed your beer and walked away. Tossing your hair without a glance, I knew I never stood a chance. You played and laid with all the very best of them. Don't lead me on again. Tease me use me and I'll be fine but just don't cut me off tomorrow. Give me two hours of your time and we can just mess around. A year later in a cheap diner I could hardly recognise the one that I'd written about. You were so clearly down and out. You played and laid with all the very best of them. Now they've led you on again.
8.
It's clear from the glances, touch of the arm. With such effortless charm. Impressions could prove to be wrong. So what is truth? Dare I say a lie. It's all in the news some cash to be won, on the tip of my tongue. So go tell the press speak to the sun. And now we're here face to face. No lies. Thought you were ready but it was never fun. There's just one expression that leaves me undone. Sprawled out in your bedroom twiddling thumbs, as you put your make up on. I crept out a window, made a run. So what is truth? I do say, a lie. Thought you were ready but it was never fun. There's just one expression that leaves me undone.
9.
I came across a photograph today. It showed how much we've changed since we parted ways. You once embodied the spirit of youth and taste. Now you look wise and grey, that must come with age. Still I recall your face at the door and my hair in your hands I felt we were the only ones there alive. And now she's gone it does seem wrong, the radio always plays our favourite songs, The only ones there alive.
10.
Some things are meant to be, how dare you disagree with that? Spent the better part of youth, at least you should be grateful for that. I would like to pick you up and shake you down. Never thought you'd be the one to turn around, get out of town, change your name, change your face ohhhh. I'm all out of underwear, would you drive me home...
