Cheap perfume
Memorabilia 90s tunes, the vivid imagery. Nothing paints a picture like a song. You played Ophelia it was June, three months still to go so we went and bought two matching bongs.
On Fridays we would sneak in your uncle’s pool. My blue guitar and the smell of your cheap perfume. I heard that you’re doing ok, now you’ve got a job that pays.
You had a boyfriend that was cruel and he messed you around, sometime then I found what I’d pursue. Still I tried to play it cool, quit field sports for good and did my best to join a kickass crew.

Every Summer we’d erect a palm tree then tear it back down.
