Though in denial she’s made up her mind, still the pain’s too much to bear, he insists on playing blind. He turned around and she’s departed it evaporated just like it had started. No sweeping exits, all ravaged hearts.
He says “what I know now, if we could start afresh” she says “you don’t see the truth and you know I’m still into girls.”
“There are no second acts in modern lives” said the astronaut as he waved goodbye to his stoner wife. Down here on Earth we are a different breed, take the thieving ministers who are rewarded for their greed. I turned on the TV first time in ages, the whole place was crawling with prophets and sages.
